An adaptation of vintage British military
FUJITO introduces an officer's shirt based on the officer's shirts used by the British military in the 1940s.

The extremely fine stitchwork and details of the time, which is the charm of FUJITO, are fused together and sublimated into an item with a sense of nostalgia and elegance.

FUJITO
A men's apparel brand started in 2002. FUJITO offers a simple collection of jeans and other items that will never grow tired of being worn. All production is done in Japan, and the brand's items are carefully finished by craftsmen.

Fabrics that show off details
The fabrics differ by color, with the blue color using Hakeme fabric and the off-white color using dungaree fabric. The Hakeme fabric has a unique weave pattern and expression, while the dungaree fabric has a good texture.

Both materials are 100% cotton. They are washed once, which also creates an attractive puckering.

Following the details of the period
The design is based on a British military officer's shirt from the 1940s. The neck features a band collar for a fresh and cozy look.

The rounded hem and deep side slits add subtle accents.

It can also be worn as a woven by leaving the front fully open. It is also made into a half-placket, so that it looks like a pullover when worn closed, which is another point of interest.

Careful craftsmanship by skilled artisans
The shirts are sewn by skilled artisans at a workshop specializing in shirts in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, and the fine stitching (24 stitches every 3 cm), koba stitching, and fold-down stitching give the shirts a dress-like quality despite their casual appearance.
※The standard number of stitches is 12 every 3 cm.

Please enjoy the outstanding stitch work not only when wearing the shirt, but also with your eyes.

Useful silhouette
The silhouette is a regular fit with a slightly roomy sizing. The back yoke is positioned higher than that of a regular shirt and side pleats are employed.
